HRIS Operational Improvements: USW Step Placement / Progression Report

In our ongoing efforts to improve and streamline HRIS processing and reporting, the HRIS Support and EASI teams are pleased to launch a new HRIS operational improvement this month as part of the HR Technology Roadmap, a partnership between the Division of HR & Equity and Enterprise Applications and Solutions Integration (EASI).

Now Available: USW Grid Placement / Progression Report

As of May 29, the new USW Grid Placement / Progression report will be available to you.

This report will automatically generate a list of USW employees in your Organizational Unit that are due for a step increase in the month / year you run the report. It will flag the employees that require corrections to their recorded data and indicate the employees that can be processed as is (wherein the Basic Pay Infotype (IT0008) and Appointment Detail Infotype (IT9009) will be created in background).

To learn more, explore the training documentation on the HR & Equity website.

Please note that employees may report a variety of different system action indicator messages; due to this, we strongly recommend you attend training before utilizing this report and ensure that employees’ information in HRIS is correct and consistent (specifically the USW Salary Adjustment Date).

For the next several months, reminders about this new report and training will be sent regularly.
